Tried to post this already however it is stuck in blogger land saving - perhaps photos were to big - so a redo! :)
We were very fortunate and super thankful to meet up with George and Framboise. They actually found us 3 trains after we were expected on the train platform! After finding us we packed off to the seaside for an amazing mussel & fries dinner with Belguim beer. One we were leaving the restaurant, Sandra spotted a food wagon with churros. She chatted them up and got 8 for the price of 6 long ones. Lots of laughter to end the evening.
After a good rest we were treated to a "French" breaky - coffee, baguette, cheese, yogurt - heaven! :-) we then packed up, loaded the car and they drove us along the coast through Bayonne and Barritz. Amazing views - got some good photos! Then off again through the countryside to St. Jean Pied du Port. George & Framboise waited for us while we registered and found our first bed. We then had lunch and they left us about 3pm.
Walking starts tomorrow!
