Our first Nightly Refuge! St. Jean-Pied-du-Port

Today George and Framboise drove us on a scenic tour along the coast, stunning!, and then on to St. Jean.  Good conversation, beautiful scenery absolutely pleasant 3 hour car trip!

We stopped at Barritz for some awesome photos! Sandy beaches, surfers,  war-time  bunkers built into the cliffs,  etc. etc. Made it to the pilgram office by 1ish. Our passports are stamped, our bed for the night, booked!

A bright orange bee landed on the blue paper I was reading,  Not sure if my excitment made the orange more vivid, pretty much everything looks brighter here!

Now we r off to find some food and say good bye!

Framboise and Geotge left us about 3. We then scouted the town,  got some food for tomorrow. No dinner tonight, the big lunch took care of that! Am of to get organized for an early start and then bed,

Am sooo excited!
