No alarm this morning! Probably the fastest I have gotten ready in 30 years! Geez Louise!
Took the train from Paris Airport to Bordeaux S. Jean. Approx a 4 hour ride. The next 2 trains to Bayonne were full, so more waiting! Kind of a coincidence that the Bordeaux train platform has a billboard of the movie "The Way". Found some cold water and ice cream and sat outside the Bordeaux train station in the sunshine people watching until the next train time.
Our train left at 16:47. one and half hour ride then we meet up with Framboise and George. They have kindly agreed to drive us to St. Jean Pied du Port which is apparently a one and a half hour drive. We shall still be able to start our walk on September 1st! :-)
